My friend Lara and I happened upon a heaping collection of Japanese (I think?!) books in an alleyway. Apparently a nice little well-read lady had passed, and her grandson was taking out the trash. We came away with some real finds - including a book that describes how to write your pen pal in America. If you're ever at my place - allow me to wow you with its hilarity. Anyway - a friend had a craft night and I decided to decorate a cigar box with some of the paper from the books. It turned out alright in the end. Thanks grandma!
