This was just after I'd taken medication to reduce severe brain-swelling on a week-long hike in the extreme high-altitude of the Lares Valley of Peru. For a moment, I thought this sucker might be the last thing I'd ever taste, and the setting sun my last sunset. Glad it wasn't so.
