Since the summer of 2010 I've been working to organize and manage the tenth annual Third Coast Conference, which took place in Chicago the last weekend in October. It's like a TED Conference - but specifically for radio. This year's presenters included NPR's Jamie Tarabay, radio essayist Scott Carrier, New York Times multi-media editor Amy O'Leary and musician Andrew Bird. The weekend of workshops culminated in the Third Coast Awards Ceremony, which was hosted by the highly entertaining hosts of WNYC's Radiolab - Jad Abumrad and Robert Krulwich.
